RESULTS OF F&SF COMPETITION #84
"What's in a Name?"
WHAT DO you first think of when you hear the title of a certain science fiction book? Sometimes, the story isn't what you'd expect. In our last competition, we wanted our readers to combine the plot of a science fiction novel with the story that came to mind when they first heard the title. F&SF Competition #85: CHICK LIT
In fifty words or less, take your favorite science fiction/fantasy story and rewrite it as "light women's fiction," in other words, "chick lit."
Example:
A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a Lannister in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife. Or a prostitute.
